Personal-property recovery
Frosty’s Dive & Recovery focuses on small personal items: a ring lost while swimming, a watch beneath a jetty, keys dropped from a boat or personal equipment in a suitable underwater area.
A diver-assisted search is considered where the location, access and conditions make it reasonable. This service is not heavy commercial salvage, vessel lifting or an emergency response service.
What an assessment considers
The first questions are where the item fell, how long ago it happened, what it is and what may have moved it. Depth, current, visibility and safe access then help determine whether a search can be arranged.
If you are looking for underwater salvage of a small personal item, describe its size and weight. Larger objects or restricted sites may be outside the scope of this service.
Agree on the attempt
Send the details before making plans around a dive. Search arrangements and any applicable costs need to be discussed before an attempt.
Recovery cannot be promised. An unsafe or inaccessible location may need a different approach, a different time or no search at all.
